Delete your account

In the app

Open Vieques Worx, go to Profile, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to type your username back, because deleting is permanent and one mis-tap should not be able to do it.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email hola@viequesworx.com from the address on your account, or write from any address and tell us your username. We will confirm it is you before deleting anything, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account — your username, display name, phone number and email address.
• Your passkeys — every device registered to the account.
• Your profile — including any photo and résumé you uploaded.
• Your applications — and the copy of your profile each one carried.
• Your messages — in every conversation.
• Your saved jobs — and your notification devices.

What is not

A job posting made by a business you act for belongs to that business, not to you, and stays. If you are the only person on a business, its published postings are paused when you go — so nobody applies to a job no one is reading — and an administrator is asked to hand the business to somebody who works there. The app tells you which businesses this affects before you confirm.

Where we are required to keep a record — a report of illegal conduct, for example — we keep that record and nothing else.

It is permanent

There is no undo and no thirty-day grace period holding your data in case you change your mind. Deleted means gone.
